Welcome. I will be going back to alaska for a month this year. Used to live in Dillingham as a kid. Lot's of family commercial fishes. I will pick up the peak of bristol bay since economics are strange this year.

That sounds like a smart choice. Alaska isn't as fresked out as most of the lower 48 or so it seams. From what i can see it's mostly business as usual here.

They are making fishermen submit covet plans in order to travel and also submit to two week quarantine. I would say it is not business as usual.

Oh, really? I thought they lifted that
Well, once you get passed all that it's pretty normal. Barber shops are shut down and restaurants are drive through/take out only and some oil workers were laid off. Otherwise it's pretty much the same.

Missouri last week opened up nail salon, barber shops, restaurant, bars and beaches but with all the new distancing rules. So we're back to normal, or at least as "normal" as things are going to be from now on.
The beaches are getting exploited pretty badly though, folks aren't distancing enough, and they're making the news for being careless.

Nice to know not everyone down there has lost their minds. Lol
I went to a restaurant today to pick up a pizza and noticed people were in there dining. I asked if they were open for dining in and they said yes. I was at another restaurant 2 days earlier and the dining area was blocked off. So i guess it's owner discretion. I DID notice today that the subway at Walmart is open and people are sitting down eating.

I am growing my hair to make a YouTube video about how to give yourself a haircut, so i haven't been paying any attention to barber shops.

I haven't seen salvation army open for a while but all the other private thrift and mom and pop shops seam to be doing business as usual.

The biggest change i have seen is that allot of people i know who work in the oil industry have been laid off and gas prices fell to as little as $2.05 per gallon.

Yea, the gas prices are crazy. It's been $1.58 for a few weeks now. A couple hundred miles into central Missouri, and I found it for $1.20.
