I recently picked one of these up. While i like it as is, i DO intend to swap some parts out. But i can find almost nothing on this. All i can find is that it's "veper compatible" (with no further information) will take vepr magazines and some deep digging revealed that some people were able to put AK47 grips and butts on them.

ATM, I am looking for handguard and forend options but can't find anything on it. And a little ways down the road i will be interested in knowing what innards it might share with the vepr like triggers, recoil springs etc.

I am also going back and fourth about shortening the barrel an inch and a half but i have concerns about reliability and; again, can't find any onfo on this.

Anyone know anything?

These shotguns are selling pretty well in a flooded market.I think most are leaving them in OEM configuration. Some grips may have to be modded for the bolt release button to clear. The OEM FCG is pretty nice but you can swap in others.I added a Magpul adjustable sidefolder to mine. Lower handguards will require some modification to fit front of receiver. They run very well right out of the box, even with lighter loads.

I sure like it. I have been entertaining the idea of making my own stock set. I am not yet sure which path to take.

It is hard to not just take the easy route and run a Magpul stock of some sort. They look great, not too expensive, feel great, etc. As far as making things goes, it took me a long time to realize that just because I can doesn't mean I always should

I'd like to do a radical SBS build on one of these, just because.

You Couldn't ask for a cheaper solution to another SBS. There's one in a LGS for 419 right now. Rural King carries them under 500 as well. I got lucky picking mine up on GB for 300 each. Lol.

I called up legacy sports and asked them. They weren't much help. They said the gun uses Vepr magazines and is an AK platform shotgun but had no further info to give. I asked if they import magazines and they said they stopped importing the gun all together. I asked why and they said because they asked for something that uses Saiga magazines. And they kinda got screwed it sounds in that it's replacement is AR platform and uses it's own proprietary magazines.

I am thinking it might be a good idea for those of us who have these to build up a list of what it does and doesn't share with other guns as we find out. As it stands, i don't think such information exists in one place.

I got mine from Harvey's pistol and pawn for $379. I am pretty sure they still have some.

Naz, Very Interesting. I guess we will just have to wait and see. I think these guns are popular in England and parts of Europe. I'm happy with them regardless.

Well, i have an AK47 and at least the butt and grip look compatible. I may have to do a quick swap just to see and perhaps get the ball rolling early.
