Just bought a Vepr 12 on Saturday, and trying to find out from those that know which muzzle devices work, and which to definitely avoid. Seller included one he had never mounted, but it looks to my unknowing eye to be more show than anything. Name was on the baggie it was in, but didn’t see anything on the device itself.

Test the brake for function. It's hard to beat the efficiency of the GK01.

Did some more surfing, and found that is the case; but can’t seem to find them for sale anywhere.

Anyone have personal experience with barrel shroud/GK01(looking) brake combo? Are they made by Molot? Was told it was, but asked for pics of name on it, haven’t gotten pics yet.

"VforVandetta" has a Youtube channel, and if memory serves, he's got a review of the GK-0_ brakes.
If I had more time right now, I'd find it for you. But there are a few threads about this very subject.
I think the GK-03 is the newest 'hot' model.

Try TopArsenal.net for GK01. Try Carolina Shooters Supply for US version. The CSS version works fine for me,and after that I really think you are splitting hairs for much better functionality.

Brakes that actually work are generally loud. The GK-01 does work really well if you can get past the increased sound at the shooter. My favorite muzzle device is the Salvo 12, nice and quiet with the right loads.
