Hello all,

I just bought a vepr pioneer and was wondering where and what would be the best side mount for my vepr pioneer 7.62x39. I have been looking all over for one with no success. Every mount I have found sits super high over the dust cover and I'm looking for something that is in the center and sits a bit lower. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Also any leads on where to buy magazines would be great. Thanks!

The pioneer takes the same magazines as the regular Vepr?

I'm assuming so because the AK mag I bought does not work with my rifle. Thank you for the link. Does anyone know where to find a side scope mount? That's the biggest issue atm.

Ive never put hands on a pioneer so I cant say for certain but this looks hopeful.

I have a vepr pioneer in .223/5.56, it will accept a RS regulate and a Midwest industries mount, I have not tried any others

I purchased the 40mm patriot mount from Kalinka, holds solid and returns to zero with the red dot I have on it . It gives a nice low profile , if you want to view the irons underneath the rail go with the 47mm (that should still give you a low cheek to high chin weld ). I have a TRS 25 dot on a 7.62x39 Pioneer. hope this helps.
