My 20" 02(integrated) 308 is threaded but my 16" 01 x39 isn't, bought em at the same time from the same seller -Centerfire about 4 or 5 yrs ago, I think my .223 was, can't recall, sold it for double what I paid as the wood was stunning on that one.

16" 7.62x39 VEPR not threaded??? Wow, that blows my mind.

Yeah I agree, it really ticked me off at the time especially considering Centerfires listing said they were all threaded. One day I'll get it threaded... doesnt really need a brake or comp at all cause it shoots so damn nice, heck even bump firing I can group it. But the option would be nice and I'm forever planning to get a can for it.
Check Gunbroker,( after you've checked all the sellers listed here on vepr.org of course ;) ) for that 23", it's always a good place to find specific models but the prices can really suck, but you might at least find a vendor who knows someone who...

Thanks for the advice! I appreciate it bud. Yup, that would tick me off also if they said it was threaded and turned out not to be!

Anyone know of somebody selling a THREADED 23.2" VEPR in 7.62x39? If so, please let me know.

You can thread them for around 50.00.if you buy the starter, die, due handle and tap oil.

I appreciate that advice, but I am hoping to find one already threaded. There has to be some out there in 23.2" barrel length.
