you should look into getting a srvv jet 4 port muzzle brake, you can buy them directly from the mfg. these things rock, i got 2 of them one on a ddi under folder and one on a sam7uf, they nullify the majority of the recoil, make the gun shoot softer, but make the gun louder and have a side concussion blast wave that may offend people directly next to you, here is a link to the mfg. page:

here are some links to my personal youtube page detailing the item mentioned above, feel free to like, subscribe for more great content dealing with combloc stuff.

Hello all,

My 7.62x39 will be in shortly and because I live in NJ, I need to have the muzzle cap pin either welded on or install a muzzle brake which would also be welded on. I'm looking for something that will help reduce recoil so my wife will feel more comfortable shooting it. My Vepr will have the longer 23" barrel, any suggestions for a decent quality brake that will work well with the Vepr and reduce recoil?

Thank you,
Sam

Here's what I've received yesterday.

Titanium DualBrake, made by the same company that makes Lantac Drakon. Should be one of the most efficient muzzle brakes for AK. Will test in on next Thursday.

Hey Sam do you have any updates on how this puppy works for you? I'm also looking for a simply the most efficient brake for VEPR-AK47-11 on the market. Money is not an issue. So far I've come down to these options:

1. MDC BD2-AK http://shop.akoperatorsunionlocal4774.c ... BD2-AK.htm
2. MDC BD3-AK (releasing soon)
3. Lantac Drakon https://www.lantac-usa.com/AR15-M16-M4- ... AK47B.html
4. Zenit DTK-2 http://www.atlanticfirearms.com/compone ... l?Itemid=0
5. Venom Antidote http://venomtactical.com/products/venom ... zzle-brake

Does anyone had experience with any or several of these? Which one is the most efficient on a VEPR in your opinion? Again, money is not an issue here, just looking for the most effective, lightest weight, most secure connecting to the muzzle, and best ergonomic one.

Thanks!

Thank you so much for this video! I have srvv jet MK2 (4 holes version) on my 23 inch VEPR (7.62x54R). Recoil is less compared to flash suppressor that the rifle came with but not down to what I would like it to be.
I was looking for some video of KORDON muzzle brake.

I have VEPR 23.3 inch barrel in 7.62x54R. I just tested SRVV jet MK2 Muzzle brake today. It is OK. Cut recoil maybe 40% but rifle still kicks. Not as bad as with flash suppressor (that it came with). I am ordering KORDON brake tonight.
I do have SJC Titan on my 308 Savage (they have 14x1LH versio too) but design looks very similar as SRVV Jet MK2.0. I don't expect SJC titan to work any better than SRVV Jet Mk2.0.

Glad I could help
The kordon hardly weighs anything which is important for me
Let us know how it works out for you

Well, I have lantac dragon on all my AK and my ar rifles. They great in keeping muzzle rise. As long as you don't care how loud your rifle and no need for suppressor, its great brake. They not cheap, but worth the price

and one more thing is very durable. I was shooting mine HK762A1 and they have very weird European twist. I haven't got adopter, because Lantac Dragon for 308 seems fit. But it wasn't exact. It was stupid mistake of mine. I was shooting in indoor range and brake shot out. Guys in range found it and it was still in great shape. I got right adapter and locktight, now its proper fit.
