Interesting, but it doesn't appeal to me personally. I'd rather have one in a caliber that is affordable and common.

Just seems like an odd choice for an AK.. $1/round and yet another mag format. Been pondering making an AR in 6.5 Grendel. Same logic applies. Always end up thinking a .308 can do anything the Grendel can, and those are already in the safe. /sct

While I can't see spending the money on a AK version, the AR version is a great gun. I just completed my 264 LB AR and it will shoot 1.5 MOA to 500 on the first outing. I can't wait to see what a little load development and a broken in barrel does.

Maybe other new calibers will start trickling in.

I want to see the 20.5" barreled version.

Next week I am picking up my 6.5 grendAK lol. I am planning to have magwell done on it. Now I would like to have definitive arms to do it. But they seem way to busy and website not up or something. I will call again and see if I can get quote of how much to pull that off. But I wonder if there is other companies that can do that custom job

There are a couple. TAKD also does magwells, but I think I prefer the design of the definitive arms.

TAKD now = Canis. http://www.canisdesigngroup.com/canis-a ... e-adapters

the LRBHO in the Definitive adapter is a little more clever in design, but the Canis product is good. My cousin used their "bastard" model to adapt a pap pistol, with some fitting. (not designed for the PAP)
