Link to page that has a downloadable pdf copy of the owners manual for the zdf slc veprs. From 1998. Wholesale on the VEPR rifles when first imported was $480. They came with a 5rd and 10rd mag, cleaning kit, cleaning rod, sling, and manual. The scope mount was a $50 option with the rifle and the Pilad VOMZ 4x32mm scope was $99. They were imported in two models the rifle with a 23.25" barrel and the carbine with a 20.50" barrel.

I have pics of a 1999 .556 vepr with absolutely no importation markings not even on the underside/magwell area, ak style fsb and bayonet lug and a ak74 style break. It had robinson type polymer furniture. It was supposedly a display gun from shot show that ended up for sale at a local gun show. Definitely a rare and interesting example.

That is really cool..do you own this 'stealth' vepr, or just the pics? seems like quite the collectible.

I do not own it, just have those pics. The owner paid $650 for it at a local gunshow  talk about a score!

Old school russian vepr pics
Top pic is a .223
Middle pic 30-06?? The mag looks awful big, compare to the 30-06 vepr magazine shown on molot usa site.
Bottom pic shows a .308 and a 7.62x39
