Smart man. I always carry a minimum of 1000 rounds per assault rifle and 500 rounds per 12 gauge semi auto. Shoot it. Replace it. Next time theres a scare you will be smiling. Theres nothing wrong with having more. Guns are paper weights if you cant feed them.

And what muzzle brake?

Went out an shot 100 shells of Suprema 7.5 shot. All was good with no stovepipes except I had 1 dead primer.
I tried firing it a couple of times, but no go. Overall, still pretty good.
I also shot 200 shells of Winchester Universal 8 shot. I got 10 stovepipes, but they all went bang.
This shotgun is just too much fun!

Thanks. The sight is a Eotech EXPS2-0. I use it with 2 eyes open. No looking down the barrel.
We were blasting clay targets with ease tracking them like firing an anti-aircraft gun :D. The 65 MOA reticle is great for shotgun use.
The flash hider is the MDI SAIGA 12 STEEL CAGE W/ SLOTS I got thru Amazon for $14.00. It's a knockoff of the Phantom Flash Hider.

XL Buttstock Shock Absorber from legionUSA

IMHO it provides low felt recoil with target shot shells. Between my son and I, we have no shoulder soreness or bruising after 300 shells altogether. I highly recommend it.

when I was visiting my sisters in DFW I noticed that none of the Wal-marts near them have any ammo either. Since I live in a much more rural area I thought this was weird

Went back to wally world again last night and low and behold there was still 4 boxes of the 00 buck sitting there in the far bottom right corner of the case. Picked up two more boxes for the collection. Not the cheapest 00 buck out there but still not a bad deal!

Mine wont cycle that 7.5.
Stovepipe every round.
I too got the Wally Suprema 00 which was fairly priced and shoots well.
Guess I need to shoot more ammo!

Yup. Break her in a little and polish the internals. You might have gotten a smart ass. Dont worry, they all get tamed eventually. Lol. The Suprema is very nice quality ammo for the price. You are the first person that has run into problems with it that I have heard of.

It's not about shot size (i.e. #8, #7.5, #6, BB, OOB..., slug, etc.), it is about the weight of shot and velocity. Common point of confusion. It isn't the size of the individual pellets, it's their total weight, and how fast they are being pushed. (which directly relate to the pressure and duration of the gas pulse which cycles the gun.) I could type the long explanation of why if you want, but the tl/dr version is just to give you this chart. Memorize it or take it with you, and you will save a lot of grief.

You will find yours should run at either 3dr eq every time or 3.25 dr eq+. With a bit of love, every V12 should run 100% at 3 +.

Have fun. Don't waste money on silly parts or trying to break in the gun with expensive ammo.
