evl grade is for the discriminating enthusiast who wants a true custom build. Enjoy!

By the way, this was the first Saiga 12 to ever have an ALG AKT trigger in it
and have video of it actually running reliably with weak loads.

and to think it started out looking something like this....

evl grade builds are tested with 100 rounds of bulk pack ammo. See that here....

It needs to be. That build grade bears my name. There are hand made parts and a lot of very meticulously done work inside and out. It takes me 3x as long to do one of these than a wpnz grade build.

Understood. I love the fact your name is engraved on it, not just "stickered".

Only the evl grade builds get the logo, are engraved on the right side, and are available as a factory SBS built on a Form 2. There is a lot behind the how and why of the engraving. If I can find a polite way to explain it in detail someday I will. To touch on it, some builds come in with less than desirable quality work done to them (inside and out) from other shops and they will not qualify for evl grade, so I created the wpnz grade for that type of thing and to fit a certain price point as well.

That happens in the boutique speaker industry as well. If you buy a $5000 pair of speakers, you get a sticker. You buy a $30,000 pair of speakers, you get a brass plate with your name engraved along side the company logo.

Wow. $30k? I wish I had a budget like that for speakers. I'm on a hit the pawn shop and buy the whole system for $80 budget with no sticker, lol.

Yea, way out of my league too. But $30k isn't even an eyebrow raiser for fancy speakers.
A friend, neighbor and fellow audiophile is the owner and builder of >THESE< speakers. They start just under $50,000. (scroll down for price)
You want upgrades on those?

Sorry...I didn't mean to OT your thread.
