Awesome! Maybe one day you can produce and host a Shotgun Reality TV Show. Specializing in Saigas and Veprs of course.

Then you could name your company after the enemy we had to fight for our independence! BRILLIANT!!!

What is more important in an SBS 8" conversion? The gasport work? Or the overall refinement of the internal parts?

You can get there with just port work, but it is far from ideal. Even a minimal amount of intelligently performed refinement goes a long way with an 8" build. This one is the entry level grade with minimal refinement (as minimal as I am willing to do, lol) and it was built from a gun that was honestly ready to part out after another 07/02 hacked it. It needed a new bolt, new barrel, and the receiver was mostly fubar in the rear and bent in the front. It was a true "from turd to trophy" project. The wpnz grade builds are guaranteed to run with Winchester AA 1200 fps and this one ended up running a little better than that. I was looking at some of the before pics last night and this was one hell of a makeover. I'll post some of that here when I get a chance. Some of it is just horrific and beyond any of the hackery that I have seen on a Saiga 12 before.
