Im glad I didnt see this before the sanctions were placed or I probably would have gone insane. Hopefully, if the russians are successful in bypassing obama I will be very interested in several of these.

And wtf is that VEPR-15 nonsense lol

It was a breathtaking blow to me since knowing what was in civilian market production at Molot had been absolutely driving me nuts since last December, but I have seen much bigger disappointments in my life, so I just press forward and focus on what we remains like I always do. Right about the time I can exhale and let it all out, bam.... here come the sanctions.

You'll just have to step up the development and release of the EVLUTION 12, aka "E12"!

I hurt for you man... I hope these sanctions are circumvented soon!

I am thankful that my ability is more natural than a learned thing. I am not bound by the rules and I think that is the root of my successes. General gunsmithing has been the bread and butter, so far, and it has allowed me to not get painted into a corner with these sanctions. Market conditions around here are great for someone who will work on whatever comes in the door. No one else in the area does that. There are a couple of shops that focus on only a few flavors (AR15, 1911, etc.), no one here who is competent with AKs, and a couple of the old time guys who could repair nearly anything have reached retirement. I am in a good position. Kalashnikov based shotguns are my passion, but I will be fine without them when that time comes. I just enjoy working on guns, period, and there are a lot of them out there.

I do have a few tricks up my sleeve, but most revolve around existing platforms. A ground up shotgun is planned, but we have a long way to go in terms of financial strength before we get there. With things like that, it is more a matter of being financially able to dedicate time to it.

If you can score a 3D printer that works with metal (I believe they are starting to come down in price) you could do a lot for not too much $$$. Might not be enough to fill shelves at walmarts across the country, but you could do small batches or just use the printer for prototypes or something.

Im just daydreaming lol, not trying to tell you how to run your business. I just hope your business is very successful!

We are building evlutionz as we go, so as you can imagine we have to be cautious with purchases and everything we get needs to pay for itself by the second or third use of it or it goes on the later list. Later is going to be awesome.... we dream too ;)
