I want to get my gun trust in New Mexico were i live. Im currently attending school in NM. I need to go to school in Texas for 2 semesters and change my residency to get lower tuition rates. Once my schooling is done in Texas i want to move back to Texas and atend more school. In the future i may have to leave and go to school in another state for a semester or two. I wont be going to school in Texas for at least 6 more monthes. How can i do this with the least amount of headache i want sbrs and sbs right now but will change my residence to texas. Can i get 2 gun trusts one for Texas and NM or get one when i get to Texas. Or can i have my gun trust with my father and keep my NFA items with him.

Thaks fellas

PS tell dude the bag man im looking for him

Your trust is presumably a revocable living trust. That means you can change it while you are alive. It's terms are controlled by the law of both states involved and the language of your existing trust.
