Just to clarify, everything except Form 4's go the the Martinsburg location. Form 4's get mailed to;

Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives
National Firearms Act Branch
P.O. Box 530298
Atlanta, GA 30353-0298

The folks in GA forward everything to WV after payment is processed.

A form 1 in duplicate for manufacture or a form 4 for transfer, a fingerprint card and a form 5330.20

I plan on building a PPS 43/52 from a torch cut parts kit. It will be built as a semi auto with a carbine length barrel in 9mm. Will I need to file a form 1 to put this together? Or is that only required if I build it as a SBR?

Only if you build it as an SBR, with a 16" barrel and 26" oal or as a pistol with the stock welded closed you don't need to file any forms assuming its legal in your state.

No problem, post details when you start the build, open to closed bolt conversion builds aren't very common and I'm definitely interested to see it.

Will do. I'll do a step by step diary of the build. Should i post it under technical/modification or other rifles?
