Just received the email I have been waiting for . The ATF has ended my almost year long wait for paperwork on my Vepr 12 factory sbs . Will pick it up today . Have a Vepr 12-03 so am very familiar with this platform . I would appreciate any advice from anyone who has experience with the factory Vepr sbs .

I have no experience with the factory SBS, but have done a few clones. It should run well with 3-3/4 dram loads, 1330 fps 1-1/4 oz.

I have heard that I shouldn't expect the 12" to run on anything but higher power ammo ,so ,
Before taking it to the range I replaced the trigger group with kit from 4-range , added a modified choke from SGM , and a 4 piece krink style flash hider from CNC WARRIOR . Glad to say it functions flawlessly on any ammo ,slugs down to 8 shot trap loads . The gun is a beast . This gun makes every trip to the range , and after an 8 round mag dump makes it hard to wipe the smile off my face .
