Some cool pictures of the 1P63 in action. I am considering this or an RMR with triangle reticle as my next optics purchace. These pics almost seal the deal for the Obzor!

Obzor is fantastic and is actually my favorite collimator. I recently bought the Trijicon RMR with green triangle and am impressed by the size and weight, but in quick comparisons between the two Obzor is instantly the winner.

The RMR has abysmal performance when shooting from low light into bright light...the triangle does not get enough light and it washes out against the brighter background. In my garage during daylight I could barely see the triangle when sighting through the windows down into the street. The garage was well lit but the fiber on the RMR needs a LOT of light to make the triangle bright. Obzor on the other hand is much more sensitive and the triangle is much easier to see. It has the same root issue shooting from low light into bright but handles it much much better than the RMR. Other reviewers have said the same thing about the RMR, that it's pretty much useless shooting from indoors to outdoors.

Obzor is the Obzorious choice between the two

Considering the obzor as my next purchase, but I am a shocked that you give such low marks to the rmr in low light. They always get such good reviews. Who knew!!!

I was really surprised as well, I didn't expect this kind of performance from the RMR. I had read a few reviews before I bought it and sort of knew what I was getting into but when I saw it for myself I was really disappointed. OTOH I like the sight and will continue to shoot with it at the range but it's definitely off my list of SHTF optics

Real good to know. Due to ruggedness, Ive allways used PK-AS as my go to optic. But my next unit will be a tritium based dot and after hearing this from you about the RMR its off the list.

Of course but I'll probably own the optic long before it's finished lol! Who knows maybe I'll be able soon to do both.
