I wonder why these don't have factory 10 round mags?

I was wondering the same thing. I sure hope they sell well and keep importing them so aftermarket mags/accessories show up. I'm still a few weeks away on affording one but I hope someone here gets one and post some pics and range reports. And if any other .06 mags like a 20 rd BAR could be made to work.
Then ultimately a comparison video between the Vepr and a .06 AR like a Noreen BN36 will show up on youtube. Though it would probably end like all the others do: "The AR is lighter and slightly more accurate but a eyelash jammed it up and we had to spend 12 hours disassembling it to get it to run again, while the AK performed flawlessly even while firing it without the dustcover submerged in quicksand in the middle of a hurricane."

I think the mag size is based off of the expectation that it will be used exclusively for hunting.

And .243 Winchester was always plentiful. Wasn't there supposed to be a Vepr in that caliber coming as well? Would like to see that.

There is indeed a VEPR in .243 available now
