Hi,
I have an early (1997) slant back Robinson arms Vepr in 308. While I like the wood furniture, I live in California, so I had to get the thumbholes covered to be in accord with CA laws. I don't like pistol grip wraps, but I like the covered thumbholes even less, so I'd like to replace the wood furniture with the standard stock and pistol grip I see on a lot of Veprs. I'd like to perform these changes without modifying the rifle, i.e., no cutting off of the tang. I've looked on line for slant back adapters, but many will say they don't fit earlier, Robinson Veprs.

Is there a relatively easy solution to this problem? Is that polymer furniture available somewhere?

Welcome to the forum ! You are most likely looking at a custom modification if you DIY. You might be able to find the polymer furniture on GunBroker if you get lucky.
