I got the low mount bp-02 mount and now need a cheek riser in order to use my scope with the wood stock. Any suggestions?

Without modification the only thing that comes to mind is a leather lace on cheek pad, like those sold for m14s and other hunting rifles.

Brownells and a number of custom shops should sell them, even cabelas, just have to see what fits and or roll your own.

If you dont mind some modification, however, i dont think you could do any better than an adjustable kydex riser, which is suprisingly easy to do.

you just heat the kydex to allow it to form to the stock, you can buy smaller amounts of kydex on sites like ebay and amazon, then drill the stock for the adjustment screws.

they also sell some cushy gell glue on pads for hunting rifles , they are soft, but i dont think they look all that nice.

hope that helps.

The kydex option does look great and easy to accomplish.

Looks like it would be that hard to modify one like that. Incorporating the ability to adjust it would take some creativity, but it would be worth the effort.

Not too difficult - Brownells sells hardware kits that would be perfect. I almost made a copy of that rifle in 5.45 before going with my 54R

I made some really nice ones that fit all the skeleton stocks but they are pricey due to all the labor and high cost of materials.
Here's how they look though mounted on different stocks.. If there is any interest I will post an ad in my business section. :)

Has a custom made hand sewn padded leather cover over an anodized aluminum two piece barrel clamp holding an 8oz mercury recoil reducer. ;) Mounts with two allen screws and is non marring with foam liner.
Like the factory Russian cheek riser on the drag stocks, it can be adjusted to swivel around and still supply a padded cheek rest, just lower for iron sight usage.

I know this is an old thread, but does anyone know where and how the custom cheek riser built into the stock was obtained for that super vepr in the photo?
