All Vepr 12s do not respond the same to actual work or even spring swapping. Some run well with little effort and others go kicking and screaming to reliability and many have defects that require very fine, risky, and detailed welding to make them run properly. Some even make me work hard for it, lol. A recoil reducing stock may work against reliability. Understand that and manage your expectations of the weapon. Good luck with it.

If you want to manage recoil and increase reliability, have a look at how these shooting techniques are compared...

What is the spring you're referring to (brand and strength)? Just curious in case I end up going that route. Obviously going to figure out what I've got first... If it's a 3 dram gun out of the box (haha) I doubt I'll ever fool with much other than aesthetics. :)

I know all about the recoil reducing stocks from personal experience as Evl has mentioned. The fun part is getting them to run with the recoil stocks, right EVL? Hint:IZ 433a video you tube. Thanks again for that although I have taken off the Kicklite and added a Magpul SF for giggles.
