I was looking at vepr videos online and came across this old video. Have any of you guys seen this drum before? The stock looks like it has a recoil spring does anybody know what it is?
w/My Saiga 12 (full rifle stock) I was able to put one of those mercury recoil reduction tubes in ( I filled it up with spray insulation I believe it was called "good stuff" but don't quote me on that).
I am new to the vepr community I have a FIME fixed stock version. Can anybody recommend a smith that can swap out the fixed stock for an AK or AR stock setup?

The only drum I've found so far for our vepr's is the SGM which feels super cheap for what I paid (I havent brought the sgm drum out to the range yet so I'll hold judgment, the 12 rounders are working for me)
Thanks guys

Pete

I was going to buy one of those for one of my rifles (the mako stock) I could be wrong but I thought the mako had an inertia driven spring internal but still a fixed stock. I didn't buy it because I didnt think it would be effective . This thing seems to compress a little under recoil kinda like those knoxx stocks for pump 12's but straight back movement.

The drum is a PowerMag 650 very well made but ridiculously expensive, around $650!! Your better off buying a Sgm drum they work fine. The stock is a Mako Group.

Looks like a maxxrounds/powermag. Machined aluminum, from europe. They make them for the S12 and V12..very expensive. Rusmilitary has them special order.
