V,

I am a 1 week old Vepr 12 owner .

1 range trip under my belt . 3 1/4 dram bird shot , full and low recoil slugs, shooting perfectly with factory 5 round magazine .

This forum, and your videos have been my references up to this point.

You sir have been very helpful .

Thank you for bringing all the cookies down from the high shelf , and giving them to all of us V12 kiddies .

QUESTION

When doing the recommended 100 to 300 action cycles, should/do I pull the trigger after each pull of the charging handle and BCG, ec. That is...should I just keep racking it, or make it point with every cycle to cock the hammer, etc.

My intention is to take careful before/after photos before I do this so I can make careful note of the wear marks after 300 manual cycles.

I would NOT pull the trigger. Just charge it.
Whatever you do, don't imagine you're mastrubating your gun while you're doing it. 8-)

Thank you for taking the time to post this info for new Vepr 12 owners. I just got mine today and a guy at the FFL suggested your forum. Not only am I new to this gun but I am new to forums as well so please bear with me as I learn. I am 55 and almost to old to learn new tricks lol. Could you help me with where I might ask questions like what is the best recoil reducing muzzle brake and such? Thank you so much for your help thus far and I look forward to sharing much more with you and other members. Also is there a way to donate to our cause? I know this stuff ain't free to keep up, lol.

Welcome! :D
The GK-01 seems to be a fan favorite for recoil reducing brakes, but I do not have personal experience.
As far as "donating to our cause", I'll send you my PayPal information. ;)
Kidding.... I'm kidding....
