Very nice, I have a ribbed butplate tattoo on my shoulder that can confirm that the slip on rubber pad is a good idea.

Any details on the magwell swap? Pretty straightforward?

I dont know why, Im not tall by any means but for some reason i rather enjoy the longer LOP. Seems to get my sighting straight quicker as opposed to the ar collapsible setup I initially started with. I dont like that most of the ar stocks ive put on aks/saigas/veprs seem to have a bow affect on the gun putting the line of sight much higher than with the standard ak stock. I did go alittle crazy with the filing on the kvar stock fitting. Also wanted to note that if nato length is too much, the wood stock that it came with is perfect warsaw length with the buttpad on. its really nice.

The magwell swap is pretty straight forward.
1)Remove the forward screw with ar sight tool or modified screwdriver
2)remove mag release pin and remove magwell.

Expect scratches where the old magwell was as the new metal one doesn't sit as high as the polymer did. Also note that the new screw mount exposes the screw nut and may also require a different method of fastening such as a wrench as the old tool will not fit in the space that was once there due to the flaring of the magwell. maybe if you have a knuckle attachment or something

reinstall in the reverse order. watched video on css website to get a general idea of how to reinstall it. used a qtip, tape to hold the spring with the maglatch and put the maglatch in while tapping the old pin in and forcing the qtip out. Careful not to bend the metal tab on the other side of where you're driving the pin through. Then attach forward screw and tighten. I tapped in the sides of the magwell a smidge as they sit a little on the outside of the vepr receiver if you dont. they do regardless at the rear of the magwell.

Thanks again to Sashagardener @ russiansuplus.net for getting these in.

Got it back from the builder, put on a set of plum RPK handguards and it's ready to go.
