Hi, new owner of a Fime import VPR-12-01 here.

Shot some Winchester super-x 1oz 1290fps at the range last weekend with a bunch of FTEs. Found this forum and read the sticky threads in my resesarch. Going to tune the rails, get some higher dram equivalent shells and try again hopefully soon.

Here's to having fun with an awesome shotgun!

Welcome to the forum! They are awesome shooters once you figure out what they eat.Sometimes they just break themselves in. They really aren't designed for cheap bird shot but can definetely run it with a little patience.

So, did some light hammer reprofiling and sanded the rails before a second range trip last weekend. It functions 100% with 3 1/2 dram shells, but still has trouble with 3 1/4 dram birdshot from federal and Winchester. The only other major source of friction that I can tell is the recoil assembly, and it looked like the gas ports are open. Anything else I should look at?

Does it have an optic on it? If so, make sure it isn't mounted over the ejection port.
