Hello VEPR.org. I have a post-2014 rifle with the dish-cut bolt. I plan on modifying it in the near future to run 10-rnd mags reliably. Until then I've ordered 3 more 5-rnd mags to help me feed this beast. (Man, these things are EXPENSIVE, but luckily found some for under $45) If/when the bolt gets modified, will the 5-rnd mags still function normally? If not, then the bolt will not be touched. I'd like the best of both worlds. This rifle is built like a... well an AK lol, but sadly they skimped out on it with a low-capacity plastic magazine. I love this rifle and enjoy getting mixed comments at the range. Thanks in advanced for your replies.

Danny

Welcome to the forum. I'm assuming the rifle is a 54r. They are awesome boomsticks! I'm leaving mine in sporting configuration. I would think the OEM mags would still function but you might try sending Csspecs an email to verify that.

Should cause no issue with any magazines on the market.
