23" .308 --> The transformation thus far. The buttstock, pistol grip, and foregrip are all from a package from i.o. inc that I bought off of centerfire systems. The muzzle break is from damage industries. The foregrip I've decided will never fit the massive barrel on this gun and so I'm discarding it. Any suggestions on a railed forend for this bad boy?

PS it took minimal dremeling to get the stock to fit into the RPK receiver and I also had to drill new holes in the stock as it inexplicably cames without them drilled...go figure. Also the grip is not actually attached in this pic as the stock screw is too short but you can get tapco ones from CTD or other ak parts websites.

Ha. Yeah, don't.

It's such a sleek rifle otherwise. IMO, the thing would look cluttered with a bunch of rails on the front of it and would probably get pretty heavy. And it's not exactly like it's ever going to be a CQB kind of rifle needing a VFG or a light.

Ultimak lower rail will work, but I think the upper rail (i.e. the gas tube) is a different size on the v2.
