Hello together, i am the owner of a Vepr V1 Mini. After shooting ca. 300 rounds with this rifle, the mini got a small dent in the receiver (bold carrier guide). See also picture.
I think this is a result from extracting the cartridge cases, hitting the receiver.
So, do you have similar problems? Is it a problem or only “cosmetics”. Can I fix this?
Thank you for your help.

I don't really see how a brass or soft steel shell could make that dent.

I doubt it could cause a physical problem, but I think something else smacked that fairly hard. Probably something steel.
